Young Parent Baby/Toddler Scouting !

This morning, a lady from Young Parents called me and said they're looking for baby models for some article or future photo shoots and happened to see Lervin's photo which I've sent them few months ago & requested me to send few more recent photos of him.!
That photo I sent them few months ago, think they didn't take in as I need to attach a coupon which is on Young Parents Magazine together with the photo. Last time when I sent in, they don't need any coupons.. Maybe they have change the rules and it has been such a long time since I've last sent in Lervin's photos ! (A yr ago i think ) Lol !

Well, there's no harm sending photos to them.. Who knows there might be a chance for him to become 童星 and earning his own 'pocket money' ! hahhaaa...

2 more months to The Big Day !

Another 2 more months to the 'Big Day'. The lil one inside has been very active and kicking real hard.! Even now, when I'm sitting down blogging, can feel his strong punches and kicks for the past 5 mins... And of course the hunger pangs kicks in quite frequently nowadays... And he just kick much more harder reminding me to feed myself !

Even at night, he moves alot too. Shifting his butt up, elbowing me so on.... Harder to sleep peacefully till morning....

A trip to Kidzloft

After hearing much reviews and good buys at Kidzloft (and of course the 50% disount on most products!), decided to drop and have a look. The warehouse isnt as big as I thought... But the things there are indeed very cheap if compare to other places.

magnifying nail clipper @ $2.50. It's very useful for my mum as easier to cut Lervin's nails too as she do't have to strain her eyes...

Booster seat @ $51. Orginal price at $115. Suppose to be $57+ after 50% off but it's the last set. So another 10% off.! This seat can be place on chair with back support, on the floor or on sofa. Can be seated by baby starting from few months old to 3-4yrs.! And the Back cushion can be recline. Definitely a goo deal!

Well, other then these, I've nothing to buy from there as most stuffs will be passed down from kor kor lervin....
Anxiously waiting for that Big day to come !

New word Tongue!

Lervin learned another new word today.! TONGUE !

Taught him by sticking out my tongue and point to it saying "tongue" It's quite challenging as I have to stick out and say at the same time... Hahahaaa. Still he manage to understand ! I let him touched my stick out tongue and he happily poking it.. Well.. it's not that gross.. Only part of the teaching. Lol.!

Belated Valentine's Day

Wishing all Belated Happy Valentine's Day.!

We went out quite late. Everywhere is so packed with people... especially couples. Ladies carrying flowers, gifts... And I'm carrying Lervin... lol.. I'm more happy than anything to have him to celebrate every occasion with us.! =) Went to Suntec shokodu for dinner. It's really not a good choice as it is difficult to have a peaceful meal with Lervin fidgeting around, asking for food and he's actually quite tired too... With some passing between me and hub, and biscuit sticks given by the restaurant manager I think, we manage to finished our meals after 1and half hr.! hahaa..

18th month checkup and vaccine

We brought lervin back yesterday night as he's going to have his jab today. He has recover from the swollen eye. But get another 2 on his body and feet. Sigh~ those mozzies really 'love' lervin to the max.. Always attacking him but not us.. And now he's scratching his feet and saying 'yang yang'. Giving me a very pek chek look.. What I can do is to distract his attention, not letting him to scratch it...
I tried the mozzy patch yest night.. So far no new bites and hope he wont get any new ones.!

This time round, the jabs, consult everything is finished within half hr. which is consider fast.. Compare to previous few times which is 1-2 hrs.. He did cry.. but it is after the injection is done and not when he's being prickled. I thought he should cry during the process... Anyway, my heartaches when he cried.. Although this is not the first time he's doing the injections, but still I do feel heartache thou I know it is for his own good.. Parents are parents....

A visit to Doctor

Hub just brought Lervin to Polyclinic to check. Doctor said it's mosquito bites. Given antibiotics and cream to apply. Hope he will recover soon...

From SG forum, I saw someone selling Mozzy patch. It state trialed and tested effective.! Not sure is it really that good. But still I've bought a pack to try it out. And hope it really works and Lervin wont be attack by those irritating mozzies again.!

Mosquito bites.....

My Darling Lervin been bitten by mosquito on saturday night... When we woke up on Sunday morning, his whole face, arms and legs are red with patches. The worse is eye lids also being 'kissed' by them... And now he cant fully open his right eye.. Scratching all over and cant sleep well. Heart aches... How I wish I'm the one being bitten by mozzies. =(

When we go out, strangers keep looking at him and i even ask what happen to his eyes... Sigh~

28th Week

28th Week

Mummy weighing 53.80kg. Gained1.8kg.
#2 weighing 1.2kg. Gained 440g.

Gynae mentioned bb is at average weight which I felt relieve as well. I thought me & bb will gain more weight especially after the CNY goodies. =) Bb's head is down when doing ultrascan. Hopefully he will be in 'Down' position when near deliver... Gynae also said that I had only gained 5.8kg till now... But Bb is at average weight. So does that mean that the 5.8kg belongs to Bb, water, placenta blah blah? hahaa.. I hope it really is.!

Next checkup will be in 4weeks time. And after that, it will be 2 weeks once visit. Which means nearer to delivery. Am so excited.!

By this week, your baby weighs two and a quarter pounds like a Chinese Cabbage and measures 14.8 inches from the top of her head to her heels. She can blink her eyes, which now sport lashes. With her eyesight developing, she may be able to see the light that filters in through your womb. She's also developing billions of neurons in her brain and adding more body fat in preparation for life in the outside world.

Bought 1 carton of 1.8kg Enfagrow... Gonna stock up of Stage 1 & 2 soon... Price is going to increase soon.! Everything is increasing but not our pay... Sigh~

Happy 18th month!

Happy 18th Month Lervin

Lervin is already 18th month old now. Indeed he knows so much things that I can hardly finish listing it out... Just to state some new things he learned...

- Cover his mouth when yawning or coughing.

- Pointing to belly button when being ask where it is.

- Pushing small stool to basin, on the tap and wash his hands himself when being ask to. (will try to get a video to load here)

- Can sleep from 11pm to 9/10am without waking at night.

- Know where to dispose his soiled diaper and dirty clothes.

- Remember most things when being told once or twice.

- Squat when being ask to. Especially when he needs to be clean after poo poo. =)

These are few things that I can remember for now.. =)

Bucket over my Head !

Capture photos of him messing with the bucket that is use for cleaning him up. Always he sees this blue bucket, he will say "Bom Bom". He still remember that he used it before... Last but not least, being mischevious putting it over his head and running around the house...







He likes to climb onto the sofa as he knows that he can get alot of things that is out of his reach.



Throwing anything that is out blocking his way !
